Human nature is complex for a anyone to understand. What shade of a person may show up at what time is something that can never be predicted by anyone. “That Night Under The Stars: An Enemies to Lovers Romance” by Alka Dimri Saklani is one example where the author explores the manner in which the emotions of a person can change towards the other and also, how personal and professional fronts have to be balanced keeping all this in mind.

The book is a simple yet complicated story of three protogonists Shaurya, Tanvi and Arya. It is narrated by Tanvi itself, who is a successful lawyer.

Shaurya is a renowned doctor and the husband of Arya. He mentally tortured his wife by doubting her character and threw Arya out of his house. The story starts with Arya sitting in Tanvi's office. She is ready to fight for Arya and get her a divorce from her abusive husband, and can do anything to get her justice.

She challenges Shaurya that he needs to accept the terms demanded by Arya, or rot in jail. But the story takes a full turn, and there are so many new sides to this married couple that Tanvi finds herself in a tough place. She start having a love hate relationship with Shaurya after an accident in her life. Being guilty of liking, even loving her client's husband, worse to it who is a culprit of domestic violence, Tanvi finds herself in a chaos.

To know the what Tanvi decides, you have to plunge into this book immediately.

REVIEW:

  • I like the way the main Protagonist was portrayed, she was really strong and a fighter and that is how every girl should be. There was this quote given in the book for her which goes like - "If I had to survive in a river full of crocodiles, I couldn’t be the silent fish. So, I became what I had to, to survive this land of crocodiles. I became what they call thick-skinned. I became a badass." The life of her really felt real, all the thoughts she had and you know the way she was, it really felt real.

  • The author has intriguing writing style. The exclamations and questions at the right time made the reading real and beautiful. Descriptions and detailed characters made the book extraordinary. Cover page is indeed beautiful and title signifies a very important night in the story.

  • The story is the proof of letting your past fears down and move on instead of running away from them. And if you face your fears, then definitely you get all the happiness that life is waiting to give you. The story also put light on the fact that justice is justice, it doesn't depend on gender or caste or financial status. The lawyer should fight for justice by moving above all these differences. Also, the story teaches us to fight against wrong doing and support right work.

I recommend this to all the women out there, Tanvi's character is really someone to learn from. I'm glad that i stumbled upon this book and read this awesome story. Do give a read to it if you love reading fiction, romance and believes in equality. 😉❣

Review of the Last Book I have read - "Men and Dreams in the Dhauladhar" #TheBookBlogTrain

There are some books that you instantly want to read as soon as you come across them. The reason might be the cover of the book, the title or something else. The same happened to me when I came across this book and I do not know the reason behind it. These sudden urge of reading a book are often risky because you can pick up a wrong book in this and regret it later. However, the adventure and risk are worth trying because you will learn how to choose books for reading. About the book, it's a story of 3 different people who accidentally meet each other in Dhauladhar. It all starts with the commencement of a hydro-electric project in the remote Himalayas. Nanda, Khusru and Rekha are the main characters. They all have a secret past which discreetly, they hide it from everyone. The book has a rich diversity; diversity in emotions and diversity in backgrounds. The story is not based on something stagnant. It is a story of Nanda from Kerala who is currently working in the Hima...

Developing Reading Habits In Students ~ #DecemberDelights

Hola people! A very Merry Christmas in advance to all! 🎅 Holiday season is fast approaching and December promises a whole lot of festive fun with Christmas and New Year celebrations happening at the same. There is no better time than the present to start planning for the upcoming holiday season. Coming to the blog, I really have no idea when I inculcated the habit of reading. One day randomly I visited my school library, picked up a book of Enid Blyton and started reading it. Though the period was of only 30 mins, but those 30 mins turned my world upside down. I daily spent 1 hour there in library and started reading random books and finally got addicted to it. I have now my own bookshelf with lots and lots and lots of books! 😏 I have no clues that how one can develop habit in a person. But here's my take on it. "Training a baby by the book is a good idea, only you need a different book for each baby".                   ...
